Audience AU24 Speaker Cable Burn-In

I recently installed 3M AU24 speaker cables. I have maybe 20 hours on them. When first installed, they were very bassy and warm and lacked "transparency" or micro-detail. All of a sudden yesterday they got the detail, but now seem to accentuate the highs rather than the mids. I suspect that I am sill in the break-in process, as the sudden changes in a component's character like this are typical of my experience with break-in. Anyone have a similar experience and, if so, could you let me know how long you had to burn the cables in before they settled down? Thank you.
