It would be only fair to compare the cables with same construction made of silver and copper. Something likes controlled experiment which Audioquest made in the old days. I have both cables - Audioqust lapis x3 and emerald x3. They have exactly same construction both are triple balanced with same diameter teflon tubes, same cables arrangement within tubes and lapis used FPS(functional perfect silver) -OCC 4N-5N silver, while emerald used FPC(functional perfect copper) - OCC 6N copper. I ve made detailed comparison of the 1m cables with the same RCA connectors.
Lapis was more detailed, with better image focus and inner transparency in mid and top. Also Lapis bass was fuller but not so taut. Lapis x3 is much better cable. I find very reluctant to switch them off and find any object for criticism for more than 10 years on both CD-pre and pre-power connection in my system.
Therefore it was not possible to compare different cables made of copper and silver
