Hi.

Discerned ears can tell the difference with & without shield.

As cable manufacturers, they got to play the classic way with customers at large. In fact, one time in a music session in an audiophile's house, I heard radio broadcast mixed with the music played with XLO no-shield twisted cable. If you find there is such strong RFI source nearby that affects your music, you'll have no choice but to get all your ICs properly shielded.

DIYers with sound ears & open minds, don't spare the extra mileage to resolve better sound. Cable is only one area to tackle.
