Short length and low capacitance is the key. I use Speltz and they work great in my resistor ladder>passive bi-amp setup. I tried several IC's in the 100-750 range. I like the Speltz silver w/Eichmann silver connectors best. That's their top line model. It's $250 compared to the basic at $100. I don't consider the sound 2.5X better but I felt the better model was justified after listening to it. I find silver to be a good match w/warm components.
