I have a crazy problem thats driving me crazy. I made some DIY cable for my SME III arm with Female RCA conectors built in on the base. I bought some Silver Sonic Pro Studio cable and Furtech conectors. They are absolutly stunning, BUT I have to move the cable around to get no hum. LIek a kid from the sixtees moving the antena on a TV to get the best picture. Its crazy and I cant figure it out. I even moved the table into anothe room - Same thing..I have a seperate ground wire that runs from the Ground screw on the SME BAse to my ground lug on the Phono Pre (Jolida)

When I turminated the cables to the conector I only used the Red and Black for + and -. I did not ground the shield or Drain wire on one end. Could that be the cause?
Any ideas or sudgestions.

Thanks
Bob
