Bi-Wire Question

I have a pair of bi-wire cables (analysis plus oval 9) but would like to use only one set of the wires and use jumpers. Is this possible or could I damage the amp by having the unused set of the bi-wires not attached to the speaker. I don't have room on the speaker terminals to stack the spades. I plan to eventually replace the oval 9 with audience single wire but would like to do this in the meantime. Thanks for the advice.
