I managed to confuse myself about what the coaxial cable's terminations should look like, before I left the house -- so when I got to the store I couldn't believe that coaxial could have what looked like a single-ended RCA plug on the end of it, and bought the optical. The thing that scares me now (and I'd welcome some reactions) is that I've heard people say that it's possible to "break" optical cable, and I'm that guy you went to school with who could bounce your walkman off the floor from three desks away, just by asking you when you got it. I notice that the cable is coiled into one of those clear plastic clamshells, so it would *appear* to be fairly robust to tight turns. Thoughts?
