Howdy

It depends on the implementation of each and also on your system. All other things being equal coax should sound better, but I've had systems where the TOSLink (optical) was the best presumably because of electrical isolation. In your case I'd use which ever I had the cable for, we probably aren't talking about that big of difference in the bigger picture :)
