...then you're a better man than I. Frankly, I haven't found a genuinely useful piece of information in an owner's manual in about ten years, and this Arcam is no exception. The language about proper connections is completely non-specific, either because the underpaid minions who wrote the manual don't understand the gear, or because the company tried to cheap-out and make a single manual that applies to five different pieces of equipment, or some combination of the two.
