Yes, mine has the DAVE module installed (mine's an A-22, by the way, is that what you meant?), which retains the two-channel amplification capability of the base model, but processes 5.1 surround signals for the connection of a gain-matched 3-channel amp to run the rest of them. There are digital inputs on the back of the unit, and a digital output on the back of the DVD player, but they are all covered by those little square rubber plugs, so I can't actually tell what I'm looking at.
