Cat5 gives you some good options take a single twisted pair select one of the cores as ground ad the other as hot...fit you rca's ! parts express do the daytona range they are ok and cheap or use the small neutriks.
If you can get hold of some silver say 0.5mm dia and some ptfe sleeve and twist up a set ...these will be way out ahead of the cat5 imo.

The jackets can be made up using sleeve or tube of your choice.
Other options include adding a screen ...though I find it effects the music badly.
using different combinations and dia of conductor.
Run the wire in parallel rather than twisted ....
these will all make an impact on the sound.
even the most expensive ic has a hot and ground its just a choice of material and topology.
