That you can DIY them very inexpensively. You can always use Chris' original designs with off the shelf hardware and get a good result. BUT you can get a much better result using Chris' VHAudio raw wire and good quality cryoed plugs!

In fact, after making my first shielded VH Flavor PC with off the shelf stuff, I was shocked to realize that it was NO cheaper than using the real stuff from VH Audio! Having now used the VH Audio materials and better plugs I can tell you that it's superior.

But the same design works and it's damn easy to mock one of these up with no tools other than a wire cutter/stripper (on most pliers and you can sub a knife in a pinch) and a screwdriver.

Sadly, I cannot remember one Flavor from another anymore. Wish Chris had named them for ice cream of fruit or something as a mnemonic... LOL
