Bang for the buck pc? Powerlink Plus, Venom?

Hi, I am looking to upgrade my system's pc. I already have the Shunyata Venom in place and am impressed with its performance given just USD100 a piece. What other brands should I try? I am looking for a smooth, extended sound. Is a Transparent Power Link Plus a highly regarded unit? I have one on order to try. Many thanks.
