You're right about the soundstaging. That has improved too, though it was very good before (I use Quad ESL-63s, which are strong in that area) - there's more 'air' around the performers and depth to the soundstage. It's 36 hours since I made it and the cable seems to be burning in and improving still further.

I aimed for 1/2" and was close most of the time, though in a few places the spacing is narrower. I made a 2 metre pair and the length, the slippery Teflon tube core, and the tendency of the fine silver cable to tie itself in knots made it impossible to be very precise. With practice I'm sure I'll produce a more regular spacing.

A 10 foot pair of Goertz MI2, but I'll be looking into your silver version soon :-)
