I had similar results with the highs, upper-mids weren't as forward, and the bass was significantly more defined- but perhaps the biggest surprise in my system was that the soundstaging was nothing short of astounding. Glad I could be of help. BTW, what spacing (laterally between signal/return wires) did you wind-up using- 1", 1/2" or 1/4"? Also, what speaker cables are you using? Thanks for the feedback. Chris.
