Difference between Cardas Crosslink IC and 300B Microtwin IC.

Dear Sirs,
I would like to get some info about the "structure" of this two ICs.
And of course about differences in their sound.
I think that 300B is a twisted litz pair (multigauge ?) inside a shield. Is it right?
Is the Crosslink stranded, solid core or litz?
My latest buy has been a Straightwire Chorus.
Not bad but still lean in the midrange (should it improve with break-in?).
