I recently tried out a new 10 gauge solid-core air dielectric wire in my system and found it produced excellent sound but there was excessive sibilance. I don't know why. Hopefully someone can help? There is no dielectric to speak of. This is solid-core, not stranded wire. The frequency response is unchanged; the sound is not overly bright nor is there a bump in the 1-2 kHz region that one might assosciate with sibilance from harmonics.
Any suggestions or explanations???
