10.5 feet of DIY silver interconnect according to Chris VH's recipee. These things are flat out great!Point being are you really sure you need a shield? Mine don't have one. I just connected pins two and three. The 28 gauge silver wire w/cotton insulation and the contruction give ultra low capacitance, 3.5 pF/ft or so. That's low.
Another idea. See if you can't lay hands on some Belden 1800F. Works great=best shielded cable I've found for balanced use. Durable, too.
