Your advise - Interconnects and speaker cables - Furutech or Ecosse or any other?

Please let me know which better between Furutech and Ecosse, or any other within the price of $300? I am using XLO (price $175) and Monster Cable Reference 2 (price US$100) and want to upgrade. I have tried Ecosse CA1, which is much better in terms of synergy, musicality and warmth and smooth sound, but with worse bass. I intend to upgrade to a more expensive Ecosse but my friend advise to use Furutech.
Also which speaker cables better than my current one Cardas MKii, price of $395?
My current system includes McIntosh MC7275 (power), McIntosh C38 (pre), Carry 306/200 (CDP) and ATC 20STL (speakers).
