I would expect the Cardas Crosslink speaker cable to have a warmer and richer presentation than the Nordost which will likely sound cooler and faster. I've stopped mentioning Nordost CinemaFlex 14/4 as a low-cost option because I got tired of not seeing any feedback from other inmates who may have tried it. Yes, it should do quite well for your needs. I use an eight foot run in my bedroom system (Bryston feeding B&W) and find it to offer lower coloration and noise floor than other low-cost speaker cables I've tried. If your amp's spring terminals will accept 11 AWG wire, a bare wire connection would be OK, but the flex-pins would still be a good idea, IMHO. All locking bananas I've seen can accept 11 AWG, so yes the one's I pointed at will work. If you choose the lower-cost Nordost cable, you might consider selecting the higher-priced Ultralink locking banana with reduction clamp I've mentioned in the forum (do a CA search). The Ultralink PRO-BANANA (also mentioned in the archives) compression-type termination won't fit the Nordost's wire properly, so don't even try to use it...
