The Stealth power cord NuForce recommends is a shielded 9 AWG design. If you go with a Flavor 4 (also 9 AWG) you can do without a shield due to it's self-shielding star-quad geometry. The Flavor 4 is great on amps, and is also popular for use on digital transports which have a substantial noise issue to address, so I expect it would do quite well for your needs. I think Chris VH would agree...
