I thought about this while visiting the "braids site". Haven´t seen it in any of the diy cable sites, but I think it actually works: you take four isolated wires, braid them in the 4-strand type and solder the ends to the rca's, two wires a channel making for a stereo interconnect. That´s it. It will look like this:left rca right rca

left rca right rcaI leave about 10cm for the ends and twist each channel. The twists will maintain the braid in place. The finished stereo cable will look like a double Y.
I guess there's a lot of capacitance going on since the wires are so closed together, but it might not be a critical value. It could also make for a fine power cord. I´ll try this out.
What do you think?
Did anyone tried it yet? I would like to hear from you guys, since this is a cheap and easy (well, apart the braiding) cable to make.Btw, the braid site is that http://www.duke.edu/~scg3/braids.html
Thanks in advance
