First, thanks for the response. I don't seek a guarantee, there's no way to expect such a thing in the real world of EM fields. I was just looking for a first-order feel concerning applications. The rest is up to me, a function of design and layout.Second, I'm looking to buy American-made iron. Products that are designed and wound in Philadelphia PA are very appealing to me. (Is Pat's Steaks still open?)
Third, where can I go to find a summary of your complete standard product line, and available options? I can't find the PPS on your web site or on Bottlehead. If you have a price sheet you can email me that would also work!

whyinthehell that place has the reputation it does is beyond me...find one of the small Mom&Pop Italian places in South Phila and the chee'steak will be of far higher quality, and sonics, THD, IM and what ever other measurement you would care to subject it to.

Doug: I hate to disagree...Pat's is the King of Steaks.
Pat's is also the originator of the cheesesteak.
Pat's is just plain the best.
When ever an audio distinguished guest arrives in town... it's to Pat's we go. Deep in the heart of the Italian Market district. It's triangle of real estate has been serving up the best cheesesteaks since 1929.you get a lot of'em right Doug... but here you just plain swung the bat through thin air :=)

but the best small-volume cheesesteak is at my mom's house in Dunmore. The best place to drink beer from 3 PM until 2 AM, after your very last final, is Zeno's. There are times when I miss Pennsylvania fellas.
and to Mr. MSL, you are certainly entitled to your opinion. Fortunately, I will not be in the 'distinguished audio guest' category in the near future, and therefore will be spared a sentence of eating at Pat's...I would be open to going on a chee'steak tasting marathon with you some saturday afternoon/evening, or perhaps a Taco-ing around Kennett and Avondale.

I just read Paul Joppa's post about capacitor taste tests...in philly we do cheesesteak taste tests... and become partisans of each of our respective choices....
and... doug... you are/would be a welcomed guest of honor in Philly... and we could hit all the cheesesteak shops....

Of course I caught your intended meaning, and humor. Just like anything one is passionate about( chee'steaks, tube amps, TX Iron, music, Diesel P/U trucks...), it is easy to get carried away. This will be required if you eat a large 'steak from the Haven Deli, they stick out about 10 inches from a refrence standard paper grocery sack.There's got to be something I can screw with today in my amps. They are ready for Elkton's listening fest now, but the need to tinker is overwhelming...
