Good riddance to scumbag Spanos! Enjoy being Kranky's bitch up in Inglewood! You made $344 million in revenue last year; $118 million from local San Diego market, & $226 million from shared Shield revenue. Now, thanks to Raider owner Mark Davis forcing your hand (saying he'd take LA opening if you didn't), your tightwad ass is gonna be saddled with paying $40 million a year on a loan to cover $650 million relocation fee. Along with $150 million for new facilities you deemed unnecessary in San Diego! Plus, for the first time ever, you're gonna have to actually pay rent! To Stub Hub stadium, which only has around 30,000 seats. Tickets will need to be in the $1,000 & upwards range to cover those costs! No wonder the Rooneys-n-Maras-n-Snyders(even) are going WTF are you thinking? ... Rams are tanking in L.A. market, after only one season back, in both attendance-n-viewership(NFL viewership dipped in LA market from 8.3% last year to 8.0% after Rams' return). Which reflects this season's downward viewership spiral league wide. So here's hoping the Shield goes for the hat-trick & approves Raiders move to Las Vegas immediately! Will be quite a visual when the Corporate Raiders play in 100-plus degree temperatures in 30,000 seat Sam Boyd Stadium, whilst new state-of-art facility is constructed. AFC West was considered one of the strongest NFL divisions, & now there's a possibility two of those teams will downsize & temporarily play in 30K mini-stadia. Bet that never happened in either WFL or USFL! ... So way to go Shield & Sheriff Goodell, for pissing off three fan bases (or revenue streams, in NFL-ese) in less than two years' time in the process! St. Louis still owes $100 million on their stadium, & Oaktown still owes $90 million for bringing Raiders back in '95. San Diegans will mourn their Chargers' loss, to an extent. But most consider it to an acrimonious end to an abusive 34 year relationship with Spanos family ownership! They saw no need to publicly pay extortion money to keep Chargers, knowing owner doesn't even cooperate with a local business community which put several billion into Charger coffers since 2001. Will LA be as receptive to 12 winning seasons over 34 years time? ... St. Louis, San Diego, & Oaktown all agree on one thing: Football Is Family!!!
