Back in the day, whenever that was

Did you and your buddies cruise the drive ins or the main drags of your towns? If you were not the actual driver, the coveted spot was front seat by the window. This is like my buddy Frank Minafo's 1955 Olds 88. Our cruiser of choice, and a 45 RPM record player under the dash.
We cruised the El Camino from San Jose all the way to Redwood City, there were great drive ins and many chances to meet chicks, but it seems we never did actually meet any!
If we were not playing 45s we had the radio tuned to the Oakland Black stations that played that Doo-Wop and real R&B.
