I picked up a PE 2020L turntable with a Shure M75G cartridge for 5$ the other day. My search has revealed little info beyond they made a lot of changers and were acquired by Dual around 71.This example has a record sensor arm, VTA on the headshell and an aluminum stroboscope? plate for the center with striations marked 50hz and 60hz. It seems to need a lube and adjustment for perfect operation.
I am looking for a service manual and any info about this interesting German changer. I currently have a couple Dual 1225s and a 1228, would this table be an upgrade or a lateral movement? Any info greatly appreciated!
