Classic gear from yesteryear; vintage audio standing the test of time.

But my motor was built for longevity rather than high compression.

It actually starts quite easily once it's warmed up, usually the first or second kick. The oddest time was at a gas station a few years ago, right after I had filled up. I positioned the kicker, and put the slightest amount of pressure on the peddle. I was about to kick it through when it went down on its own, and fired right up. Apparently the stroke it was on left it in the perfect position to start by simply applying a bit of pressure to the kicker.

Regarding the cold chills, I hear you. And its gotten worse, what with every other car driver having their damn face planted in their cell phone, rather than their eyes on the road. But I've been riding for forty-two years, and I'd rather die doing something I love, rather than longing for it if I gave it up.
