The speaker panels are rated down to 55hz by themselves but they sound like they go much lower because of their size.
Panel size is everything. The CLX area is 490 sq in for the top and 656 sq in for the bottom for a total of 1146 sq in.
By comparison, the U-1PX radiating area is 2350 sq in.
