Yes, NOS 6B4Gs are scarce. However, the Sovtek 6B4G is quite decent, in production, and tougher than NOS.

Ned Carlson did something similar to what Mikey linked, starting with a Dyna ST70. NOS 6B4Gs are not tough enough for that situation, but the Sovtek variety, with its "beefy" plate structure, is.
