That is the military part number for mil-spec silver coated copper. It's good enough for the space shuttle and F-18 fighters.
I have used it for the past couple of years and am well pleased.
Inmate "drlowmu" also uses and recommends this wire.
It is also the wire that Steve Deckert of Decware Audio uses to make his reference Styx speaker cables.
It comes in a wide variety of gauges as well.
