I have a collection of vintage gear consisting of a pair of ESS Transtatics, a pair of Crown DC 300a amps, a OC-150 monitor, Sony TAE-77esd preamp, Stax headphones, a Sony tts 4000 turntable with Ortofon mc cart,on a Sony 16" trannscription arm and Nakamichi tape and CD players. I've had to repair the RTR Es screens twice over the years with good success however The Mylar film is getting a bit tattered on two of them. Any idea of a replacement source if they go before I do? Also is it worth wile replacing the caps in the crossover with polypropylene versions? I believe it crosses at 150 hertz and 1500 hertz so the screens are doing a lot. I'm an old geezer 70s, but hearing seems to be good so far. I'm hoping this stuff will outlive me.
