Serial numbers on SP10 Mk2 audio vs power supply chassis

I am looking to purchase an SP10 Mk2, and the one under consideration has significantly different serial numbers on the audio vs the PS chassis'. In one case, it's a 7 or 8-digit number beginning with a "2", and in the other it's a number of the same length, beginning with a "1". Is this an indication that the two chassis' were not born together as one unit? Thanks.
