RE: Best JBL Speakers That Don't Cost To Much.......

No mirror images, but JBL 4311A's are tops on my list for vintage JBL speakers. I can't believe I sold my first and only pair many years ago. I made up for that loss by buying Klipsch Forte II's on Craigslist. I upgraded the crossover caps with Bob Crites' crossover upgrade kit along with new Titanium tweeter diaphragms, new wiring and better binding posts. Basically, if I didn't get the Forte II's, I would have bought another pair of JBL 4311A/B's. You would still need stands, so Forte II's basically have a similar footprint as JBL 4311's on stands. They're more efficient too.
