unless you're talking Hartsfield or Paragon or 250ti. I have a pair of 4311b 3-way monitors in my living room and they sound great, driven by a vintage Luxman 40 watt/channel receiver and several reel-to-reel decks. But they're much less than $600/pair, I would think.
