This is a readly available tuner that looks nice and is a reasonable price, does anyone have any info on this model? How does it "stack" up to say a sansui tu-717? no one seems to pay attention to this model, perhaps that should tell me somthing. I need a new tuner, I currently have a phase linear 5000 II, it picks up stations like crazy and has some great features like a multiplex indicator and an expander that really works good, but it is lacking in?.. you guessed it bass, it's shy and just does not provide enought audiophile sound quality to keep me interested, nothing like my mac mr65 b I foolishly got rid of, please kill me now, that thing sounded soooo sweet, how will I ever get that sound back for little money? As it looks now I am leaning toward the sansui 717 as a best value for the money, what do you think?
