Which tuner to get and getting the most from it. Thank God, for the radio!

RE: no specs in that brochure, but...

I had experienced the HP1000 and HP2000 amps and they were a pair of my favorite integrated amps; actually 2 of the best sounding integrateds I have ever experienced. But, never had my hands on the 5500 matching tuner.

Suspect, based on my experiences with the S3xxx series tuners, Micro100 and, the SEL200 receiver the 5500 is an excellent performer.

These were the last of the US produced product and showed just how good the US could still be in design, engineering and manufacturing.
