here in Australia our public broadcaster still uses AM for its range.
On one national program Radio National, the transmitted bandwidth is out past 10Khz, and they do use the NRSCA curve as well.
I used to have a coil and varicap to tune a random length wire outside, I will soon buy a CCrane remotely tunable loop. Less maintenance and no climbing up masts.
It can, I believe feed ALL our AM stages.
Apart from program promotions, no commercials!
