transformer alignment

Do It Yourself (DIY) paradise for tube and SET project builders.

i've read that the output and power transformers should be at right angles to each other. what if i'm using a choke supply and all the transformers are in a row? i.e. PT | CHOKE - OT | so the OT and PT are in parallel, but the choke is at 90 degrees between them. any thoughts?
