ST35 Project starting....any suggestions?

I got the diytube ST35 PCB on Friday and want to start the project by choosing the right parts. Since I'm sure many members have done a similar EL84 project, I'm looking for suggestions on ways to get the best potential out of this project.

First stop is choosing the iron. I'm planning on getting new iron from either Uncle NED (his PA774 Dynaclone PT and Z565 Dynaclone OT) or Hammond stuff like the 1650E OT and the 272HX PT. But I would consider other iron from more obscure sources if I felt it could push the amp quality to the next level. Magnequest has 565 OT that is pricier and maybe better? What about Sowter,Triad, Plintron???

Anyway, any suggestions on things to mod/tweak/parts to choose to make this amp special. I'm all ears. Also is tube rectification the way to go???
