RE: Does the H in Hammond stand for hum?

I only used them for experimental work in the early stages of my 211 build. The supply was cap input, but I used a variac and never ramped them up all the way. It was just an easy way to create a variable HV supply, and I haven't used them for anything since then. My next project for these will probably be a squirrel zapper. :)
