Driving power aka Grid Driving Power. You will need a hefty 25 to 50 watt amplifier to drive the 100TH. You could use a MOSFET source follower to drive the grid of the 100TH, but if you are going that rout to use the 100TH as a driver, just use a voltage tube into the MOSFET source follower to drive the 814. It will sound better.
Using an amplifier to drive a massive power tube only to drive a massive power tube is fun, but does not make a lot of practical sense. Look up "power drive" or Tubelab's sites. MOSFET Source Follower Grid drive.
