It did move it up into a slightly more linear region. Do my eyes deceive me or do the curves start to become less linear once you get above about 80mA? That would maybe explain why I thought it did not sound as good at 95mA.
also, just by eye balling the curves it would appear that the sweet spot should fall about 60-70mA and 480 to 490 vdc for the points I am playing with. I should at least try to hit that and see if I can hear a difference. Thanks for the info Tre'.
