RE: DIY amplifier selector suggestions.

I did the same with my Hammond organ, added 10 ohm resistors in a switchable network that lets me use phones. I used a rotary switch because I needed three positions, and I have a good selection of rotaries in my stash. I really doubt those Chinese toggles are capable of the ultra-low contact resistance desired for hi-fi use. If you're not happy with them, take a look at Nebraska Surplus. Their switches are almost all US made, and many have silver contacts.
