RE: Help: Hammond 272DX 125 Tap not working, but 115 is working.

Did you unsolder all the leads before measuring with the ohmmeter? If so, you've connected something wrong. Inserting any resistance in series (like a lamp filament) will degrade regulation. Some people use a bucking transformer, which has less negative effect. If you want to discuss Hammond vs other brands, that should really be a different thread.
