RE: Standby switch...pros and cons?

Is this for an RH amp?

I use SS diode rectifiers in my RH inspired test amp and don't need a delayed B+.

Switching HV DC is more problematic in a tube amp circuit.

I used a 555 timer circuit with relay for switching the AC primary line for B+ transformers when using DHT finals.

It has proven to function very well over several years of service.
