I understand what you are saying.I don't do this for a living.I actually teach college auto electronics and emissions this so was a hobby I turned into a little prosperous fun.I used to work for Westinghouse for nine years when I lived back east and then when I won custody of my daughter,I moved back to Michigan to be near family. In Michigan we don't have many electronics firms so I was able to do the next best thing and marry my two favorite hobbies, cars and electronics, after procuring an automotive electronics minor. The rest is history.

"What I'd like to see is your completed work on measuring caps published. With the amount of work involved it seems proper that the rest of us should be willing to pay some nominal sum for access to what will be an unduplicated reference work that will help us decide what to install where in our equipment."

I will gladly do that..The only reason I don't feel comfortable charging for it is because I have gotten so much free reciprocal information and many from your posts as well, that's why I don't feel compelled to charge for it.

Now if I had written a complete text that contained lots of pages, that might warrant some compensation but other than that,I would feel horrible charging you guys for info that we all share. That was very nice of you tho to suggest that time is worth something which it is.I just get too much pleasure in sharing and would have too much guilt.

For rebuilds,upgrades,and repairs,that's a different story.That I charge for.
