Very cool! At the resonance peak, the AC voltage across the paralleled LC will let you calculate the apparent resistance of the choke - due to core and eddy-current losses.
I was wondering why the cap was needed in parallel with the inductor and now it makes sense. Of course you are talking about AC resistance of the choke at a given frequency but will cap value have a significant affect or are we just looking for a relative measurement for our calculation?
