RE: Fuse Holder

Geezerrocket - I always use the lower fuse holder terminal for the HOT , 120v lead. If you don't and try to check the fuse, sometimes they can fall out of the push-in holder. So, naturally, you grab it with your fingers, but the bottom end cap can contact the upper ring of the fuseholder, thus momentarily attaching you to the Line voltage. If your other hand is on Earth ground, you'd better have a GFCI breaker installed or hope that the fuse is small enough that it blows before you do!
