It's beginning to look like you gents are on the right track with thinking the psu is running out of gas. I made some of the easier changes like a different rectifier and a cheater cap, and they both helped. I also reduced the resistors on the 26 plates and that brought that plate voltage up on them. By juggling things around I was able to get a B+ of 330vdc and a B+2 of 110vdc. I know I can't leave it like that, but I just wanted to see what would get the voltages up.
It is getting a little difficult to make these changes on the final chassis, so I am going to set it aside for now and do a one channel breadboard to get back to where I was when everything was working well. Once I get that done I will do a second channel to see if my psu does indeed need a boost. Not going to tear anything down until I figure out just what is going on and how to fix it.
