I'm 100% with Mikey on this. I have had ONE K40 with an issue out of all the ones I've handled. And while I haven't had the amount of exposure to the other NOS oilers he mentioned I have no reason to doubt him based on my experience. His point regarding them being hermetically sealed is the key IMHO. If properly spec'd for the job at hand and properly installed those caps will last a heck of a long time.
